About Us
Empowering digital privacy, one pixel at a time.
What is ZeroTracePix?
Every time you take a photo or save an image, hidden data is often attached to it. This data—known as metadata (EXIF, GPS, XMP, ICC profiles)—can reveal exactly where a picture was taken, what device was used, and the date and time it was created. When sharing images online, this hidden footprint can compromise your privacy.
ZeroTracePix was built to solve this problem instantly. Our tool acts as a high-speed digital scrubber, redrawing your images pixel-by-pixel inside your browser to strip away all hidden technical metadata without degrading the visual quality of your PNG or WEBP files.
Developed by Alticrux
ZeroTracePix is proudly designed and developed by Alticrux. At Alticrux, we believe in building precision tools that put user privacy first. By combining high-performance coding with a strict zero-data-collection philosophy, Alticrux ensures that you stay in full control of your digital footprint.
Why We Built It
With the rise of AI generation and deep data analysis, the information hidden behind an image has never been more scrutinized. While many metadata scrubbers exist, the vast majority of them require you to upload your personal images to a remote server. We believed there had to be a better, safer way.
We built ZeroTracePix so that anyone—from photographers to everyday internet users—could clean their files effortlessly, instantly, and with the peace of mind that their files never leave their own device.
Our Technology
ZeroTracePix relies on modern HTML5 Canvas technology. Instead of sending your image to a backend server to be parsed, our script reads the image data locally on your machine. It then physically redraws the visible pixels onto a blank digital canvas and exports that clean canvas back to you.
This process intentionally leaves behind all deeply embedded text chunks, APP markers, and EXIF profiles, resulting in a 100% clean, metadata-free image.
A Note on AI Undetectability
While ZeroTracePix perfectly removes technical metadata, it's important to understand what it does not do. It does not alter the mathematical distribution of pixels. AI detection tools look for statistical anomalies, upscaling artifacts, and noise patterns inherent in the image generation process itself. Stripping metadata removes the "tags" from the file, but the pixel fingerprint remains. We built this tool for privacy, and we advocate for critical thinking when engaging with digital media.
Clean, fast, and completely private.
