2. Description of Service

ZeroTracePix provides a browser-based tool designed to strip embedded technical metadata (such as EXIF data, GPS coordinates, XMP, and ICC profiles) from uploaded image files. Important Limitation: Our service only removes metadata. It does not alter the pixel content, noise distributions, or statistical patterns of the image. We make no guarantees that using this tool will make an AI-generated image undetectable to advanced AI analysis or deepfake detection systems.

3. Privacy & Local Processing

ZeroTracePix is designed with privacy as a priority. All image processing occurs entirely locally within your web browser using HTML5 Canvas. We do not upload, store, transmit, or have any access to the images you process. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.

4. User Responsibilities

By using this service, you agree that you will not:

  • Use the tool for any unlawful or malicious purposes.
  • Attempt to use the tool to facilitate fraud, copyright infringement, or deception.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the website.

You bear full responsibility for the images you process and how you choose to use or distribute them afterward.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. ZeroTracePix makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the service, the effectiveness of the metadata removal, or the accuracy of the resulting files. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ZeroTracePix, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of, or inability to access or use the service.
